Right Start Handwriting CopyMaster Book 1 is specifically aimed at pupils who are not ready to use joined-up handwriting.

Structured handwriting exercises using the Sassoon handwriting font show the correct letter formation in readiness to join. Book 1 is also suitable for pupils who may need to return to separate letters and basic stroke related exercises to correct movement faults.

We recommend all pupils return back to the basics of letter formation before they can start to improve their handwriting skills.

Both Book 1 and Book 2 are suitable for all age groups and abilities, including pupils with Special Education Needs and pupils learning English as a foreign language. The two books are identical in content, however each book provides a different level for handwriting practice. Each book has over 200 pages of photocopiable exercise worksheets of varied levels of difficulty.
