It covers 1st and 2nd declension nouns and adjectives, regular verbs in the present, imperfect and perfect tenses, numbers 1-10 and the use of prepositions. The stories are taken from Greek mythology and Roman history.

Book 1 is suitable for Years 5/6 (ages 9 to 11) .
